This is probably what’s going to happen.

Guys, according to John Lasseter on one of his tweets, he doesn’t know anything about Hasbro getting bought out by Disney and even so, it wouldn’t change anything. Disney has stated time and time again they only buy other companies to add under their corporate umbrella and those companies act independently. Did their buying of Marvel affect their Hasbro toyline? No. Did it affect Marvel’s Cinematic Universe? No. They have even stated they have no intention of getting hands-on with Star Wars.

This actually makes a lot of sense. Disney is already working towards Star Wars 7. They certainly would want all the license rights under their control to maximize profits from it.  
While Disney certainly has the funds to buy all of Hasbro if it wanted to, it just seems like it would be more trouble than it would be worth to convince Hasbro’s leaders to give up their executive power over the company.

Then that would make me happy.
 
But then, Star Wars toys wont be at Hasbro anymore :(

This is probably what’s going to happen, all Disney has to do is wait it out, because like with Hasbro’s Marvel toyline, their license for it will run out in a couple of years and will go to Mattel, who makes all the Disney toys by the way.

Come on!  
I bet even Disney has their limits.

This makes more sense than buying Hasbro. Get all the profits with none of the upkeep or IP woes or fanrage.
