An adventure ensues in which the monster carries him to a landmass floating in the zone and carries him to the top of a mountain and drops him into her nest of newborn flesh-eating hatchlings. A unicorn pony appears out of nowhere, fighting off the hatchlings and guides parcel post to a cabin halfway down the mountain. The unicorn lives alone there and talks to parcel post about how he got there, and asks why parcel is there. Parcel says that once he gets back he’s going to kill discord. The unicorn says that won’t bring him peace as he’ll only get into more trouble for killing him. The next morning the unicorn guides him to the base of the mountain and points him in the direction of the nearest town. It turns out that ponies inhabit this landmass in the middle of the zone. Parcel asks the unicorn how he can get back home. The unicorn tells him that there’s a cave at the edge of the landmass that acts as a portal between the dimensions. Parcel comes to a sea. He joins a ship’s crew as a sailor (because he’s broke) in order to cross. He makes two friends on the voyage: a blue earth pony stallion and a light gray pegasus stallion. They encounter unprecedented weather as they approach the other side of the sea, leading to a shipwreck. Parcel post ends washed up on shore. He follows the nearest path for several miles to the nearest settlement. The ponies there are tense because they foresee a coming war between their kingdom and that of the nearest one. Switch setting to the nearest empire thirty years earlier. An alicorn queen rules over the land. Alicorns are rarely born in the kingdom - there is only one other alicorn in the land known to the public, a female child - surprisingly, whenever an alicorn is born, it turns out to be male. The queen doesn’t want the royal line to have males in it, so she orders the death of any male alicorn when he is born. A tiny underground society of rebels - like, at most five ponies - make a system in which at birth they offer to take a male alicorn child away from the parents to raise him on an island thirty miles out at sea, an island hidden from the kingdom. Most parents agree, as they would prefer this over the death of their child. The alicorns are snuck out of the kingdom to the island. They are raised in an xavier’s school sort of setting - a building on the island. They are given regular educations and given short daily self-defense lessons on the side (in case). The alicorns question why they are raised this way. The adult on the island, a unicorn, is forced to tell them at some point. Later on the queen does find out and sends out several units, including the young female alicorn, who she has trained to become a deadly ally, to the island. The unicorn tells the boys where to go for help. The unicorn puts on his armor and slowly makes his way to the edge of the shore to meet the alicorn female and hold her off (although his efforts are useless). The boys flee. They make their way across the sea and find themselves at a settlement. They inquire about the unicorn whose name they were told to seek out. They find themselves at the cabin at the midpoint of the mountain. The unicorn leads them across the sea to the kingdom where parcel had gone. War has already been declared, the armies are to meet at battle in a matter of weeks. During this time parcel had been searching for the location of the portal, all his efforts in vain. However, during his travels over the land in search of information, he came across his blue earth pony sailor friend in the hills northeast of the kingdom. Parcel found him in a hidden colony of peculiar ponies deep in the dark recesses of a forest - these ponies have an intrinsic, acute knowledge of dream magic - that naturally belonging to princess luna (not a character in the story) - which allows them to explore the realms of a pony’s mind through entering their dreams. Their natural magical abilities, like that of a unicorn, are also enhanced in power at night. Parcel post, knowing that the other kingdom (lead by the alicorn queen) wants to subjugate and take over the other kingdom. He, along with the blue earth pony, manage to persuade the ponies to help the kingdom protecting themselves against the evil alicorn queen. The blue earth pony also happens to know where the gray pegasus is - they both ended up washed up on shore near each other. Some troops from the queen’s kingdom had picked him up and brought him away. That was the last he saw of him. Since then, the gray pegasus had become an ally of the queen’s. Meanwhile, back at the other kingdom, the male alicorns are being further educated in their battle strategy and technique.

just throw it in a random direction. it can’t possibly not reach discord’s mailbox that way.

The best part was that the recent ep showed he’s still stuck there.
