General Bio:
If Harmony is the tiny, female, copied clone of Discord, then Lokie here is the very essence of his mother Fluttershy, but in the more extreme sense. For instance, Lokie isn’t just quiet, he’s an absolute recluse who rarely talks and only when necessary- Lokie isn’t just shy of other ponies, he’s down right scared of them and avoids contact as much as possible, which is ironic when you think that, due to his appearance, it would be just the opposite. Even when he gets older and loses this irrational fear, his anit-social nature makes him come off as being cold, indifferent, and ̶a̶n̶ ̶u̶n̶h̶o̶l̶y̶ ̶f̶r̶e̶a̶k̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶n̶a̶t̶u̶r̶e̶ enigmatic most of the time. As a result, Lokie doesn’t make friends easily, or many at all, outside of the Mane six’s families. Honestly, he doesn’t mind it much, but it’s not like you can tell, since Lokie’s not the type who expresses his emotions easily ̶c̶o̶n̶s̶a̶r̶n̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶L̶o̶k̶i̶e̶ ̶w̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶k̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶s̶m̶i̶l̶e̶ ̶o̶n̶c̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶a̶ ̶l̶i̶f̶e̶t̶i̶m̶e̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶l̶o̶o̶k̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶M̶o̶n̶a̶ ̶L̶i̶s̶a̶!̶?
But underneath all the blue bangs, shaggy fur, and hostile exterior, Lokie has a really sweet and sensitive heart ( and I mean sensitive, that boi will cry all his manliness away over mushy love poem in a heart beat). Lokie doesn’t show it ( along with everything else), but he’s very compassionate and empathetic, even going out of his quiet way to do some kind deed in secret. All the ponies who have managed to see past his shell know he’s really a gentle giant who would probably cry if he hurt a fly, and if you earn his trust he will pledge his undying loyalty to you and your children’s children. But don’t mistake his innocence for ignorance, he’s seen and experienced somethings you wouldn’t want to imagine. Not that anyone knows about it, since Lokie keeps everything bottle up inside or occasionaly locked away in his diary.
Lokie may not get out much, but he’s not without a hobby. Being an introvert who rarely ventures from Fluttershy’s cottage, Lokie enjoys spending most of his time reading anything he can get his paws on, even a cook book (which has actually helped him become an amuter chef). Animals really aren’t Lokie’s cup of tea, but he’ll jump at any chance to help his mom out and it does warm his soft heart to care for the sick or young. He’s not quite the fanatic about nature that Harmony is, preferring to stay inside taking naps in the sun, knitting with his dear mother, or coming up with stories of his own. In fact, Lokie expresses his creativity through writing, mostly poetry, and is really good at it too. Many believe that it’s his special talent, but a cutie mark has yet to show up proving it. Actually, a cutie mark has yet to appear at all, and being 18-year old with a blank flank, Lokie’s pretty anxious to find out what his true purpose in life is.

Relationships:
Fluttershy: Fluttershy isn’t just a mother to Lokie, she is his world. When Lokie was little he stuck to her like a shadow, only leaving her side to nap in the window or go play some game with Harmony. If you want to find Lokie, your best bet is to find Fluttershy. Also, as a kid, Lokie was terrified by strangers and hated going to town, which made home and Fluttershy like something of a shelter to him- a sort of bubble, if you will. Fluttershy excessivly nurtured him in return, even to the point of overly babying him, trusting that he would come out of his shell when he was ready. As a result of their close bond, Lokie will open up to Fluttershy more than anyone else, but not even she knows everything. Aside from their similar personality’s, they both enjoy tea time together, gardening in the spring, reading on stormy nights, and they both have a sleepover under the bed once a year on Nightmare night.
Discord: Discord and Lokie are, well, to put it bluntly, complete opposites. Their different, if not conflicting, personalities isn’t the only thing keeping them from a close relationship. Discord was looking forward to a son just like him who could take his place as Lord of Chaos eventually, so I’m sure you can imagine his disappointment when he found his son can’t use magic at all. He tries not to show it ( being Discord and all), but Lokie is good at seeing through people and knows his father’s regret and can’t help but feel guilty over it. In fact, too much of anything chaos related makes Lokie scared, uncomfortable, or down right sick. So things to bond over are pretty much limited to tea parties and philosophical, “what-if” conversations. Both Father and son wish deep down to grow closer, but neither knows how to go about it, so they end up having a weak, half hearted, “I still love you but I don’t know how to show it” relationship.
Harmony: Lokie maybe polar opposites with Harmony, but unlike Discord, their differences only bind them closer together ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶d̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶H̶a̶r̶m̶o̶n̶y̶ ̶b̶e̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶o̶n̶l̶y̶ ̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶r̶s̶t̶ ̶1̶2̶ ̶y̶e̶a̶r̶s̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶l̶i̶f̶e̶. To Lokie, Harmony is the half of him that’s missing and he’s drawn to her charismatic and bubbly personality instead of replled, like with Discord. He can find her overwhelming, pushy, and draining sometimes, but ultimately he adores and even looks up to his older sister by one year. Lokie is like a rock for Harmony’s flighty nature, often bringing her from her idealistic clouds back to logical earth, and is the shoulder she cries crocodile tears on when she hits a low. Aside from Fluttershy, he trusts her the most and is more open around her, even cracking a few jokes just to make her laugh. Lokie likes to be alone, but does enjoy spending his time with Harmony, often joining her on nature walks, sharing chores together, reading books to her, and even assisting in a few of her pranks, being the pushover that he is.
Special:
- Lokie is also a mixed hybrid of pony and draconequus, but unlike his sister Harmony, he’s unbalanced. Meaning that his draconequus genes and pony genes are out of wack with each other, like oil and water in a blender. This affected him in many ways. On the surface, you can it’s affects through his appearance. He’s got a pony like stature, but mixed limbs and other oddities that are not equally separated from each other, like a doll with it’s missing appendages being replaced with parts from other toys. In a addition, he cannot levitate at all and struggles to fly well or for long. Lokie also cannot use magic like his sister, but whether it’s because of his genes is debatable.
- Because of his quite nature and irrational fear of strangers, Lokie didn’t adjust well to going to school for the first time. He ended up quiting after a week or two, but since Fluttershy couldn’t homeschool him, they needed another solution. Fortunately, Twilight offered to tutor Lokie for a monthly fee and Fluttershy was quick to take her up on it. Lokie both knew and liked Twilight ̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶n̶o̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶d̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶a̶c̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶y̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶b̶o̶t̶h̶ ̶e̶g̶g̶h̶e̶a̶d̶s̶ and greatly enjoyed his new teacher. He blossomed well under her instruction and even though Twilight couldn’t figure out what the deal with his magic was, he still passed with flying colors.
- When he was first born, Lokie was really weak, much weaker than his sister, and couldn’t maintain and stable health. He had a very low appetite and would barely sleep, even crying for hours with for no reason. Fluttershy would stay up with him until he tired himself out, singing soft lullabys to soothe him. There were times when Fluttershy feared she might lose him, but Lokie always pulled through and eventually grew stronger. He’s no longer the weak little boy she stayed up with until 2:00 A.M.
- Lokie will tell anyone who asks (as long as they aren’t a stranger) that he is happy and content with himself, but this isn’t quite true deep down. Though he doesn’t feel the need to change himself, Lokie does feel an inward guilt and insecurity over his own nature. It doesn’t help when you have a sister that’s so easy going with tons of friends by her side that its makes you slightly envious and desirous to be like her and it’s like you’re some werido who can’t function properly or even grocery shopping alone why am I like t h i s ?
- Lokie is one with many fears and isn’t afraid to own it. He’s got a little bit of everything, fear of close spaces, of drowning, of water in general, of snakes, spiders, and even lizards. He’s afraid of heights in relation to climbing and dislikes any fast rides or thrills due to the threat of death. Strangely enough, the one commen fear he doesn’t have is the fear of the dark. I’m fact, he’s quite the night owl and enjoys the calm and quiet of Luna’s night.
Note: This character for me is very complex and goes through multiple stages of maturity and character growth throughout his arc. For me to show that in just two paragraphs is impossible. I’ve done my best to give you the general idea of his personality with the hope that, as I post more content for him, his character will become clearer and more defined. Also, I will be updating his relationships in the following days ahead.
