That would have been heartcrushing if Friendship is Magic would have ended in Season 3.

So anti-climatic.

The show probably would have been irrelavent if that would have happened and just a short term fad. And the fanbase would have been so much smaller.

Perhaps I would not have even been part of the fandom since I arrived at Season 5.

Just a small reminder: Originally they planned to end the show with Season 3. We got thrice as much episodes, two movies, a Christmas special and a spin-off about a high-school. And we’re probably getting new show about ponies.

So this is more bittersweet than sad.
