At last, something official that confirms her last name is “Williams” and gives her age. Of course:

Idealized character = character can’t make mistakes = character can’t start drama = character is boring.

That’s the thing. With everypony turning to her when trouble happens, Megan just doesn’t act like a kid of any age. She was the “adult” in the show, and she never acted like a jerk, never panicked, or never lost her cool. Lead characters that perfect just don’t work.
