The Mane 6 are all still platonic friends with each other. The only one who has a confirmed relationship with someone is Pinkie Pie. And who is Pinkie shipped with? Not another mare but with Cheese Sandwich.

That’s at least 3 straight ships. And I’m sure there were probably other straight ships being teased that I forgot too.
 
The canon straight ships outnumber the canon gay ones so I don’t understand why you’re making a fuss over this. So far, we only got two canon gay couples (LyraBon and Scootaloo’s aunts). That’s not much when you take into consideration of all the straight couples the show has (as well as some of one-sided straight ships like Spike’s crush on Rarity, Zeyphr’s crush on Rainbow Dash, Rarity’s crushes on some stallions, etc.).
 
It’s really no big deal in my opinion. I don’t think you should worry about it.

Now it is almost obligatory for them to be a couple in today’s TV shows.
