Sweetie was in like 2 episodes so far, Rarity has been in like every one this season either in speaking or not (usually with the rest)

Actually, I believe Rarity had poor screen time in the beginning of S1 as well. If anything, Rarity is the new Applejack, who was the new Rarity.
