This is a scene from an idea I’ve been mulling about for a long time. It’s set in a distant future Equestria where there are no cutie marks any more. Ponies who earn ‘curse marks’ by accident are shunned or ‘disappear’. There are ponies who believe that the life they know isn’t right. That something is missing; something important. A ruin explorer and a shunned foal chased from her village and hiding in an ancient temple find each other and accidentally set in motion events that lead to the most terrible war the world has ever seen.
