I know that Twilight Sparkle as an alicorn defeated Starlight Glimmer back in the season 5 finale. However, I decided on what would happen if she faced her off as a unicorn. The truth is that she might not defeat Starlight Glimmer as a unicorn because it won’t be enough to satisfy her.

Twilight didn’t defeat Starlight. It was a draw. Magically speaking. Twilight was able to convince Starlight that what she was doing would destroy Equestria. That’s how things resolved.
