Backstory: Uni-Candy and her brother Ronnie were both born as fraternal twins. They had quite a happy childhood, with a few mishaps on the way, and they were very close to each other. As Uni-Candy and Ronnie were both excited to learn about magic, however, Ronnie had been confronted by a group of bullies, and Uni-Candy got into a fight with them in defense of her brother. Panicked by the incident, their parents made them move to Ponyville to live with their aunts and uncles and stay away from trouble.
 
During their early days of Ponyville, Candy felt upset about the fact that she and her brother were unable to learn about magic. As a result, she got into a lot of fights with their relatives, and even rebelled against them. However, doing this made her feel guilty, and she eventually ran away from her relatives’ home to find a solution. She eventually met Kai, who agreed to train her in martial arts.
 
Candy was very fortunate to learn about magic while training with Kai, and she learned how to solve problems in a healthy way, but it didn’t stop her from being hyperactive. Candy also befriended Lolly Pop after realizing that they both had a passion for confectionery, and they’ve worked together since. While Candy looked up to Kai as her master, she also had an obsession with him mostly due to his good looks, that she had no choice but to confess it in front of the rest of the trainees, DJ Emo, Skateboard Jo, and Flora, Lolly Pop included, and they all formed a friendship with each other after they shared the same feeling for their master. While Skateboard Jo was usually the one to come up with the tricks to play on Kai, Candy would usually be the one to come up with the surprise tickles on him.
 
Upon the return of the Nirik King, Uni-Candy and Lolly Pop both met Sugar Mele at the confectionery after the smell of their candy led her to there, and they offered her to try all of the candy that they have made so far. When the Awesome 6 all met each other at the same time, Uni-Candy was very shocked during the discussion of Kai when Sugar admitted to them that she didn’t have feelings for him. Despite this, they all became good friends, and they even bonded with the Ponyville Pals, who assisted them during the battle between themselves and the Nirik King. When Sugar Mele became an Alicorn princess after winning the battle, Uni-Candy would be the one to help her on her magic skills. With her friendship with Sugar, she learned that no matter how tough life is, there is still hope, which explains why she has a passion for parties and sweets to this day.
 

 
In case you’re wondering, yes, Uni-Candy’s design was inspired by Unikitty from The LEGO Movie, which I love that character and movie with all of my heart. However, I did try to make her slightly different from the character personality and backstory-wise. Please do not cause drama over this.
