I do know it was said that the show is supposed to be computer animated aswell and yes i know toom boom is computer but that normally refers to CGI

I think they even confirmed it a few days ago in an article or during that Hasbro event that the series will be CGI as well. Which makes sense because why would they create those assets for the movie just to never use them again?

Still just early merchandise and is not the same to a toy commercial that used animation I dont even think I’ve seen anyone prove that the show is 2D

Hasbro normally doesn’t lie about what the new ponies will look like in the new mlp TV series.
 
This is the toy ad from 6 months before Pony Life aired on TV. Pony Life wasn’t even on TV yet at the time.

Pony Life is okay so far and I liked the First Season.
 
Pony Life did well enough that an 2nd Season of the series will air on TV soon with the return of Princess Luna, Princess Cadance and Starlight Glimmer.
 
…What? You guys didn’t really think that Hasbro was going to end Pony Life without adding those 3 ponies in the series did you? Sorry, but it’s going to happen whatever you want it to or not.

Um, you do know that the official artwork on the bedsheet is for the G5 MLP cartoon TV series and not the G5 MLP 3D movie right?
 
And no, the G5 MLP TV series is not going to be in 3D.
 
This was on one of the websites with info about G5 MLP.

So there you have it. G5 MLP will get a 3D movie and a 2D cartoon TV series.
 
Ouch… Better hope that drawing on the bedsheets isn’t what the G5 MLP cartoon TV series will look like or the G5 series is already dead.
 
I wish I was joking about this but the info about G5 mlp is all true.

…Yeah, I have pretty low hopes for G5 mlp right now.
 
It seems that Hasbro is making the animation style worse and worse each time we get an new mlp TV series.
 
I’m almost sure that G5 mlp will fail already but we’ll see what happens when the animated TV series finally airs. Hopefully, Hasbro has changed the G5 animation style since that official G5 artwork got posted on-line.
 
If not, then the G5 mlp series is probably already doomed.

Yes but I would imagine even on Netflix timing can be important. Staying in theatres Could have caused it to be delayed by months And Hasbro probably would have had no say in it

Pretty sure the move to Netflix was done so they wouldn’t have to delay from the theatrical date and then delay all their plans after that (tv special, series).
