Radiant hope and King Sombra are best of friends. They were the only friends they ever had throughout their whole life. The first met in the Crystal Heart Foal Center. They were orphans not knowing who their parents were. Throughout their childhood they were called weird and no other pony wanted to play with them but Radiant Hope adored him and befriended Sombra. Together they played with each other and spent every moment w/ each other. They always wanted to go see the Crystal Fair together, however Sombra always became sick and ill every year when the Crystal Fair came around although Radiant Hope did not leave his side. Even when it got so bad he was about to change form but Radiant Hope healed him and saved him. That’s when she got her Cutie mark. Her magic was strong enough to heal anypony. Sombra was so happy for her.

When they were foals they looked into the Crystal heart to see what their “destiny” held. Radiant Hope saw herself as a princess and Somber saw his Shadow, full of darkness and evil. Sombra was scared to be a monster. One day as they got older, Radiant Hope got a letter from the two sisters. Sombra ran off upset knowing she would leave him behind and being all alone. He wandered in the middle of nowhere in the snow. Things would change for the worst as He heard a voice calling his name, a big red crystal of his mother. His mother told him what happened to him and what his purposes were. His mother just dropped him off in the middle of the snow to find out his family was under the Crystal City. He was only to be used as a weapon and nothing more… His mother turned on that weapon for him in a flash…taking over The Crystal Empire, shattering Princess Amore all over Equestria to one day someone will recover her. Radiant was in tears and disappointed in Sombra’s actions.She felt like she could heal him, she felt like he could have taken a different path and not turn into an Umbra.

Radiant Hope ran away from him and her to study and train to become a princess; she could nor focus on it due to worrying about Sombra. She dropped everything to go for Sombra. for Thousand years she lived with the Umbras for a very long time. She didn’t believe in “destiny”, having abandoned said destiny in order to save Sombra. Radiant hope didn’t see Sombra as a weapon, not even a monster… but as her best friend that she loved for so long. With help from twilight and her friends saved him. Radiant Hope and Sombra lost not knowing what’s next for them.They travel together to look for their next move. Their hopes were lost but their spirit, friendship and love for each other was never forgotten.

I give Sombra more design. Giving him more sexyness than a boring color/ design. lol and Ms. Hope is more shiny as she is a Crystal pony after all. :3
