Well, she’s a magical moonpone anyway, so she can use that to her advantage despite the heeled boots! She even has wings, so that’s like double cheating XD
 
But yeah, realistically heels are certainly not appropriate for skating. I guess you can roll around barefoot/in heels for a bit, but to do any sort of trick you’d probably want some sort of flat shoes.
 
I used to skate for a year or two as a teen, and even with the very simple things I did the shoes would get seriously chipped at their sides over time.

You’d be surprised. I’ve seen skaters doing it up in cowboy boots & barefooted…definitely wouldn’t recommend doing it barefooted. Unless you like slowly sawing your feet off.  

I could totally see Luna skateboarding in boots, seems in character to me ;)

Looks like she’s having second thoughts about what she’s doing. To me she does, anyway.
 
Who in their right mind wears high heels while riding a skateboard? Especially grinding down a guard rail like that.
