I think it is a much to modern Style for a Fantasy Universe.
It look more like the Creators have get Inspiration from Zootopia.
MLP is nice if it has not so much Tech-Shortcuts to made Things easyer, like Smartphones instead of magic Scrolls.
Even it looks like just ZH and MB have modern Tech and other Places like Briddlewood not.
I think a complete new Universe would be better then this G5 Equestria.
In G3 you had Ponyville, Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo and other, but complete different from G4.
If they want to tell us Storys from the Future, then they should at last leave the Places and some of the Timeless Things, like Statues, the Stained Glass Windows in Canterlot, Ponyville instead of Maretime Bay and some of the Figures should be there too.
In the Fandom are 3 Versions of Alicorns: 1. Alicorns can reach an Age up to 1500y, 2. Alicorns can reach an Age up to 10.000y, 3. Alicorns are imortal/Timeless
At last Discord should be there, but I guess after he has loose his best Friend (Fluttershy), he has permanently return into his own Dimension.

Zephyr Heights looks absolutely gorgeous without all that billboard/screen stuff.

Always if I see Zephyr Heights, I see Columbia from Bioshock Infinite.

It’s like Demacia but with less….sheen.
