You’re right. The pony versions of Gloriosa and Wallflower were in fact from an alternate Equestria. The same universe seen in Annual 2018 and Nightmare Knights that is ruled by the Pony of Shadows, and later Princess Eris, and later Daybreaker.

The EQG universe is known to parallel Equestria very closely. There’s a Celestia clone, clones of the mane 6 etc. It stands to reason that any humans we haven’t seen in Equestria are likely to have pony counterparts anyway, especially if they live close to CHS.
