Decided to draw Malachite again. With her mama.
Malachite had a lovely childhood and was very affectionate to Fluttershy. She learnt how to be a “good pony” like her mother. She didnt feel wrong as a dragon child, she knew she was different but it didnt matter, because there were so many other creatures that were her friends or family. For example Spike was there when she had dragon problems.
Mal and Fluttershy were unseparable when she was younger. Been a mamas girl, always a mamas girl. It didnt matter that they werent blood related because Fluttershy couldnt dream of a better child.
