You’re asking me that when Rarity is somehow able to go bipedal without any support. The age regression outcome is more logical then a bipedal pony.

Well, this is what happens when you ask Rarity if she can fix up the little piece of clothing you kept from your first day of birth, and she is still under the power of the spell that Spike found in the old castle. She thinks that the best way to fix it up is to fit the pony that owns it into the cloth. Only way that happens, is if they’re the right age group for it.
 
Now I have to wait at most nine months to be able to see it fixed up again. Yep, she regressed me so young that I am in her tummy now. Must of wanted to make me her baby and it happened.
 
I blame Starswirl for inventing that spell.
