Despite what the picture says, this is not creative. There’s a little bit of green there. As we all know, green is not a creative color.
Honestly, if you don’t like the design or anything then that’s totally fine. It’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it. You don’t have to like it or any of my others, they where created for my enjoyment after all and if anyone else enjoys them that’s great.. If anyone else doesn’t then that’s great too, not everyone is going to like them and for anyone to have that assumption that they will is just naive.
I’d like to better understand how you think I’m pretentious though(just send me a note on DA and I’ll hear you out). I’ve never tried to be rude purposefully to anyone and if it’s seemed that way I apologize. The ‘fan page’ was created by another user who liked my OC, she just asked for permission to create it from me(although she did make Centchi and I moderators or something - I can’t quite remember as I’ve never been active with it). The shirts where made for fun, others where doing so of their OCs and I joined in on the bandwagon.. So what? The total of like $30 I made from them where donated to Equilibrium, a foundation for bipolar disorder(which I actually have - that’s why my ponysona has it). Bipolar disorder is associated with creativity, hence the shirts writing. Nothing more nothing less. If you feel it’s stupid then that’s fine, once again you’re entitled to your opinion.
My finical situation is honestly no ones business although I see it being brought up in this thread. My house is paid for/my car is paid for/my family wants for nothing(clothes, food and such are taken care of as well as any other needs they may have) and I have no debt whatsoever. How I decide to spend my expendable income shouldn’t be under scrutiny. I don’t really get why someone would take it upon themselves to do so when they don’t even know me personally. It baffles me really, then again it is the internet and that kind of stuff just happens(as is going on here).
I’m sorry that anyone feels like my OC is being “shoved down their throat” even if I don’t understand why they would feel that way. I like to support artists, commissions can be a large part of their income after all. I also just enjoy collecting things, you may not agree with it but to each their own. I know many others with far more commissions they’ve bought of their OCs and some that are still growing daily(I haven’t purchased a commission in awhile now). I’m starting to work on my own art now and I’m going to be sticking with that for now.
Just take a chance to get to know me before you make assumptions. <3 I’m not the greatest person and I’m horrible with socializing but I’m still not quite the jerk off that everyone is making me out to be here.

Equestria Prevails didn’t have any influence in Echo’s creation. Being a regular on /mlp/ != being the creator of a character. He drew her a little bit, that was pretty much the only connection he has to Echo.

But I do have something to say, and I said it. All I got from your post and equivalent ones were “YOUR OPINIONS ARE WRONG STOP BEING A BAD PERSON LOL U TRI 2 SOUND SMRT.” I’m sorry that myself and others are opposed to your opinion, but they still stand. I don’t know who you’re trying to convince here. It’s a dumb design, and worse, the artist is pretentious as fuck, or at least acts like it. That’s that.

You’ve got to be kidding me. Maybe you should research a bit further next time. Being a regular in the bat threads, I can vouch the fact that EQP has been around and been drawing bat ponies long before the bat threads. It was only when he heard there were bat threads on /mlp/ that he started drawing for us occasionally, including our OCs. By no means does he represent us or the opposite, he’s just a well-known artist.

I just wanna let you know that your argument against this character is the STUPIDEST argument I’ve ever heard.
First of all, didn’t your mother ever tell you that if you don’t have anything to say, don’t say anything at all? Guess not. Rude much? Get a life! NO ONE… Is telling you to like this character! And if the creator wants to spend hundreds of dollars on her character, then that is HER business. NOT yours! Yes, it’s everywhere, but you CANNOT tell me… That NO ONE wants products of their own character.
Also, Star Struck has LESS colors in her mane than Rainbow Dash, and her color being lighter than Echo’s colors. I LAUGH at that. You know why? Because Star Struck’s base color was picked off of the bat pony character Moon Moon

What more is there to say? It’s gaudy, and the manner in which the OC is treated is equally as so, if not worse. That’s what several people have said, and it’s what I think, too. Swallow the information, because that’s the honest truth from our thoughts.
I don’t roll my eyes and move on when it comes to incredibly negative comments that fail to be constructive. The artist who made Star Struck is being creative. You’re being a bully.
I can say the same thing about you. You don’t like our opinion? Roll your eyes and move on.
That being said, a DeviantArt group just for ‘fans’ of this OC and making tshirts for ‘fans’ is a little pretentious, don’t you think?

Holy fuck dude. Who cares. 63 people disagree with you. The design is nice. Yeah, marketing on this OC is sketchy, but it still looks nice.
The shirt has very little to do with the overall picture of things. The creator of the OC throws, literally, hundreds of dollars away on art, plushies, sculptures, and other various pieces of merchandise, basically flooding tags, groups dedicated to batponies on deviantArt, and other various websites. The overall design for the OC is incredibly glaring and overdone, and doesn’t fit the general batpony motif anyway, so it feels very forced. Bats like Echo and Speck are respectable in and of themselves, not only because their creators don’t NEED to spend hundreds of dollars on them, but because they have a devoted following based on their stories and personalities.
Their designs are also incredibly simple, which gives much more merit than something that needs to be overdesigned, which often results in level-headed, reasonable thinkers to dislike it, because it screams “look at me, I’m special.”
Who gives a shit about the shirt, just appreciate the picture.
I agree with him, this OC is getting a little pretentious. A shirt for “fans of this OC”? There’s nothing but the fact that the creator of this OC is throwing hundreds of dollars around in commissions and shoving it down everyone’s throats.
Not at all. She’s completely out of place. There’s too many colors in her mane and tail, the stars look like some dumbass Hasbro marketing gimmick, and overall she seems too light for a bat pony. She’s one of the worst popular OCs out there.
