Honestly, considering that Team Ninja is the one behind games such as Dead or Alive, I can’t help but think that the sexist undertones in the game were not Sakamoto’s fault. I mean, he was the co-creator of the franchise and all… he probably knows more about Samus’s backstory than anyone else…
From what I understand of Japanese culture, the game was sexist even by Japanese standards.
