what you say is true but if you don’t know the basics you don’t know the work that’s been put in, the actual image is great but the animation edit is the thing that is the problem with it to him. now if it were a perfect world hed point out exactly why its “shit” but thats the thing
 
It’s not a perfect world, in any case his critique of this is a shitty animation is not registered in anyplace as good or fair feedback/critique or whatever you want to call it. at that point its not even critiquing so his sole comment was to get a reaction… one were both showing right now by getting butt hurt over it..,
 
in the end no you dont need to know how to do better or sub par but if you know nothing of the process then your essentially biased in your opinion. otherwise every troll or mean persons comment like this one would controll everything. and all good comments would be overshadowed completely
 
course in retrospect if we look at this. could be he just fits in the hole thats marked “this doesent fit my liking therefore it is bad regardless of all else”

I am not bitching about the image quality myself, I kinda like it actually but what you said is simply bullshit. Not knowing how to animate doesn’t mean you can’t critique the drawing, which is all this “don’t comment until you do same or better” argument is all about.
