Just looked at the front page, half of it was anon in equestria, with various fetishes. I’m not judging people for liking that sort of thing, but I personally don’t. Some threads I find interesting, yes, but they are few and far between. I don’t see too much point partaking in a board that consists majorly of things I don’t care about.

And I do know about /mlp/, I’ve gone there several times. Every time it just seemed to be a place filled with memes, hate, self-insert fanfiction, and boredom, with a few exceptions of course.

Equestria Daily commentators give just about everything a nine or ten.

Most of you guys are talking about /mlp/ as though you actually know anything about it. The negative reactions are the most vocal, but /mlp/ actually has a fairly mixed reaction with almost every episode.

/mlp/, yes. On derpibooru, I pretty much see mixed reactions, but not as heavily negatively focused as /mlp/ does. Then again, negativity is what /mlp/ does. That and write anon in Equestria stories. Which, ironically, brings them closer to the actual definiton of autism than most people.

The 4Chan one is not accurate.He doesnt gave the show staff death threat or bullied other fans into submission.

This is fairly true of the MLP fandom in general. Even taking out exact groups, most people rate new episodes as meh or good. But there’s always those few who just state, “My god that episode sucked!”

I considered it a good but not exceptional episode, personally.

…Okay, I have to admit, despite my attempts earlier, the stereotype about EQD is at least somewhat true. Heck, I’m a pretty notable instance of the stereotype myself; on my four-star scale (I decided to do that in honor of the greatest critic of all time, Roger Ebert), it’s rare for me to give an episode less than 3 out of 4, and none of the episodes in the entire series rate less than 2 out of 4 stars to me. At the same time, though, I go out of my way to never give an episode a perfect four out of four. If I have next to no problems with an episode, the most it will get is 3.9 out of 4.

It should be random different numbers… and something about alicorn twilight or other completely unrelated drama.
