That’s actually the same vibe I got from Blueblood—that he’s not trying to be jerk, but simply doesn’t understand he’s driving everypony around him up the walls.
 
Unless he only did so with Rarity, and nopony else…

Yeah, it’s funny because Luna seems absolutely clueless about her behavior. I’m definitely not reading it as intentionally malicious. While it would seem blatantly obvious to some folks, I’m getting a strong feeling that Luna has no idea what ponies actually think of her.
 
Normally, some people need to be told in private what they’re doing wrong. Luna might need to be told very bluntly what she’s doing, and what’s happening. Upon being told, most folks might be immediately shocked and apologetic for what they’ve unwittingly done.
 
Luna has another interesting problem. Who’s going to tell royalty what’s going on? While it’s likely that she will more than likely take it well (again, not malicious), what if she doesn’t? Ponies aren’t telling Luna this because they’re obviously too fearful of a bad reaction, however remote it might be. Is an annoyance worth being potentially punished for?
 
I liken it to this. In past jobs, I’ve had to gently inform higher level managements of some of their unwittingly hurtful behavior. Like I said, they’re actually far from angry, and actually kind of shocked to learn the truth. They’re very sorry. My colleagues, however, tend to be wide-eyed at my own bravery/foolishness.
 
Now if they could make a comic where somepony was brave/foolish enough to clue Luna in, that might be fun. I imagine Twilight being the one to tell Luna.

IDW Luna comes off more of “It’s not fun for me therefor it is boring and bad” attitude. Not mention this pic shows that she considers them peasants and their argument “petty”. Weather or not that’s out-of-touch, it’s still pretty rude for a person trying to reconnect with society.

It’s still fun to pit two different personality types against each other. When characters’ personalities are different enough, they’ll create conflict on their own. It feels more natural. Conflict ultimately makes for a more interesting story.
 
The over-serious, stuffy and humorless Kibitz is fun to pit against the cavalier, out-of-touch Luna. I still think the Luna micro was fantastically entertaining.
 
I have a vague feeling you take some of this stuff a bit too seriously yourself. I get a vague feeling you’re taking some of this personally. You…do know that people will tease you exactly because you’re too serious, right?

BUUUUT in “Look Before Your Sleep” both characters end up making deuces at the end. Here Luna just ends up being douchy to poor Kibitz.

I wouldn’t even say antagonist, really. It’s just fun to see two very different personalities clash. Luna is a playful, out-of-touch and somewhat inexperienced, it seems. The too-serious and stuffy Kibitz is trying hard to keep his princess on track, and it’s proving to be a bit of a challenge.
 
It felt a lot like pairing up AJ and Rarity in “Look Before You Sleep” in S1.

Again, how is Kibitz the bad guy here?
