Been trying to find that here (I like having pony art in both my Deviantart favorites and my Derpibooru favorites), but I can’t remember the artist, and it’s buried too deep into my Deviantart favorites to look for it there.

I was raised normally, though she didn’t hit the bottle til I turned 18…it got so bad that the night after I moved into a group home in December 2010, I whimpered when I saw beer bottles in the home’s fridge.

No, as far as we can tell, Equestria is an Oligarchy, because all the power lies with a small group of powerful ponies (i.e. Celestia & whoever she deems to be part of her inner circle). Note that that is not the same thing as being controlled by the richest, the correct term for which is a Plutocracy.
It’s not a theocracy because Celestia doesn’t seem to actively force ponies to worship her, nor do I think she’d care much if any of her citizens didn’t worship her.

theocracy implies there’s a religious base. it doesn’t seem to be religious but power-based as the ponies don’t exactly treat celestia or luna as gods but simply extremely powerful ponies.
