Interesting as this image is better than this one and ended up deleted, also the artist stated that sometimes you need to get rid of the past and move on, I guess he could learn from the past but isn’t willing to do so? In any case the image no longer exists on derpibooru and I would say we are all the worse for it.

JPEG isn’t the problem, the problem is the stupid amount of sharpening done on a previously compressed image. There is no excuse for butchering an image like this.
