Flash Star is the captain of the Cannon Blast team. She was known from the east side of Equestria that had a different meaning of speed and skills. She had many friends and supporters and fans along the way ever since her team encounters the Wonderbolt team. Her rivalry began when Spitfire was able to cross the finish line but Flash Star was inches away from her and her new title from which either teams gets it will qualify to the Pegasi’s Championship: A huge, but tough race to fly all around the world without ANY injuries. It is said that the championship is completely impossible to win, but Flash Star and her team were determined to win no matter what the cost. The race began from the city of Canterlot and the ponies cheered on as the both rival teams races around the world to claim that title. However, Flash Star has some sad secret that no pony wants to know about her past. She secretly insist that her father was serving for Princess Celestia and missing in action during the war against the Griffon Army. But no pony had ever seen her father, unless there is somepony who knew about her lies. Her younger sister, who’s name not mentioned yet, believes that her father had beaten her during a drunken rage and was too scared to tell any pony about this past incident. Their mother had secretly taken her two daughters to a wonderful place called CloudsDale in order to start a new life. Her story is so grounded that many pony started to take pity to this newcomers as well.
 
Sadly, her mother died trying to protect her daughters after her drunken father found her in CloudsDale and Flash Star, with her gifted speed and wits took down her father but at the cost of her vocal chords. Her father’s in the dungeon by two princesses and Flash Star and her sister went onto their foster home with a young couple who recently got married in Ponyville, thanks to Celestia and Luna.
