OC Thread

Would you give Elizabat hugs?  

This may or may not be the right place to ask this, if it’s not then let me know. I’m looking for OC volunteers to fill out the set of background ponies in a project I’m working on
 
I’m looking for pony types, colors, and mane/tail styles; I’m planning to draw a bunch of common styles that I can then programmatically color. If you offer something that would take me a lot of extra drawing I am less likely to include it. I’m also looking for one or two favorite colors apart from those in the coat and mane; cutie mark colors, for example. Eyes will not be visible but I can apply the eye colors to these extra colors.

Also, touching story behind that pic. My pet dog died last month, and when I told my friend about it, he commissioned this to the artist as a gift to cheer me up. Both him and the artist are very nice for doing this.

Nah, I was being a bit of a smartass mimicking a line from TF2.
 
I do like it though. Kinda wish I had the free time/determination to draw but I think my form of art is in programming/industrial.

Yes, in this place you can ask those kind of things, after all, this thread is exclusively for OCs and the topic is undefined. I’d be willing to help you, but unfortunately I’m busy working on some other things. But what I can do is to at least give to you an sketch of a random OC that I created months ago, she doesn’t have name or colors, but I have imagined her with warm tones, if that can help you.

His name is Marquis Majordome. He is a French pony that is a waiter, butler, and massager at the Ponyville spa. He is Bi-sexual, and is in a relationship with Starlight. he also loves tea.

Yeah I don’t know why, but the colors just seem like they’d work well for cherry pepsi/coke.
 
Man I need to think of some commission ideas for my OC. Just suck at brainstorming.

I’m developing this oc. She is a minotaur named Ruth Opal. Since I have no idea how female minotaur’s look, I don’t know if they are small or just as buff as Iron Will. But anyway I decided to go with a more androgynous look. But as of now I’m having a hard time striking a balance. I think she looks too male-ish. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to balance her out? Thanks.

I think a narrower waist and a more slender neck and jaw might work. Could also adjust the eyes to a bit larger and more almond shaped so as to look a bit more feminine.

I like what you have so far! Is pretty original and we don’t have so many minotaur OCs (or well, this is in fact the first time that I see it). Maybe she could look more femenine if you stylize a bit more her eyes and make the snout a bit more tiny.
 
I was searching images of female minotaurs, there’s not so much but I found this image. Maybe could be useful?

The eyes and face do need a lot of work. I think shortening her snout might help a little. I kind of want her to be bulky so I won’t shave too much off that waist.

 
Made some slight changes.

Three posts in a row, hope this doesn’t count as spamming. I just wanted to update. Picture I started out with sort of…grew. Past what I initially had in mind. These are all OC’s of mine in a loose world building headcanon I’m working on. I gave my minotaur girl (Who I’ve named Ruth Opal) a top, mostly because this is an anthro styled picture.
 

Eh I don’t think there will be any issue. You’re making progress and it’s not like you’re spamming thrme same OC over and over.
