The second reboot Lara Croft is the hawtest while also having the best characterization.

Depends on your circle. From what I’ve seen, most do like her, but believe her inferior to original Lara or first reboot.

I personally find her more attractive than before, she’s not overly sexualized.

Ok so you heard of Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness? That was pretty much agreed by many to be a critical and commercial failure, so, Eidos interactive who had the rights at the time decided to change dev hands from Core Design who did the original trilogy to Crystal Dynamics. They then created Tomb Raider Legend which was the first reboot. And then Squeenix took the rights after Underworld and made a coop sequel with Crystal Dynamics before they rebooted again but not because of success or failure but to do an origin story.

Oh, so THAT’S how it all went down. I was always rather confused about that. Never knew that Legend was supposed to be a reboot though.

Lara’s father being missing is a consistent part of her backstory and motivation in all the different continuities though, right? I at least remember it being a thing in both the Angelia Jolie films and the more recent film based off of the newer games.

I think so. Missing or dead anyway.

I love Star Trek, but none of the Trek shows from the 2000s onward have felt like Star Trek to me, and it makes it harder to get excited for any upcoming Trek media.

I said she’s not. At least not new TR Lara. The old Lara was clearly sexualized in the game, remember how they made her boobs bigger than they meant to and left it in?

ENT is old new, it helped to kill Trek with help of Nemesis. But STD was new chance and they blew it. ENT actually started getting better when it was cancelled.

So after Spiderman, I’m not really excited or looking forward to much out of the MCU. I mean none of it looks bad but I don’t get any hype or excitement from it. Course the big sticking point with me now is how much of it is being planned on being paywalled TV and mini series on Disney+ which I’m not in favor of at all

If you have to resort to mentioning a show’s worst episode to make the argument that it sucks, you have no argument.

Invader Zim doesn’t hold up well at all. It’s too tryhard and dark.
