I wish to make a correction:
 
G'n'R's Use Your Illusion I and II are indeed mentioned in Classic Rock's "1991" issue, albeit in a single column on one page.
 
In my defence, it's a bit easy to miss if someone just skims through, but I shouldn't have concluded it wasn't mentioned at all.
