I dunno. It seems like they have way too high expectations with the content they green-lit. It makes me wonder what the viewership for Parts 1 and 2 were like because that's one factor in how something gets renewed (how fast a show is consumed within the month it's dropped).

The thing is not every TV show can be a hit right out the gate. You have to let some stuff grow first and earn that following. I can't imagine something like The Simpsons would survive and have multiple seasons in the modern era.
