Stupid stuff that comes to mind that we want to post

Man, Avenged Sevenfold’s self-titled is so good, it’s genuinely surprising that critics hated it so much.

I’m guessing fans and critics look for different things in the same thing, like how an atheist and a religious person would view what one could call a miracle differently.

It’s one of the ultimate examples of critical dissonance. Fans and critics both praised the hell out of the album’s predecessor, City of Evil, but then critics were giving one-star ratings to Avenged Sevenfold while fans were calling it one of the band’s best. It’s confusing.

And that’s where it divides the two groups.  
Critics and fans rarely meet in the middle, so yeah, it is quite a puzzler.

Critics are turds.

 

I just got off a D&D one-shot.

 

One of my favorite hobbies used to be finding the oldest reviews of old games on Amazon like Pro Skater 4. I saw a review back then complaining about how there was too much hip hop in the game instead of rock music.
 
It’s amazing how those reviews are like a time capsule for different opinions and perspectives back then.
 
Although it is frustrating to find those old reviews since instead of giving numbered pages for you to skip to the last page, they give you just an arrow to back and forth forcing you to go through every page. Its kind of frustrating but worth it for that info.
