As much as I admire great scents like anyone else and detest stenchy odours and bad breaths. Is it really necessary that people pay this much money for scented water?

You could say the same for many high-end items. I’ve heard of bottles of champagne selling for more than my entire tuition. Shoot, this watch costs over one million dollars! Think about how much you could buy for that much; a nice house, some nice cars, and put yourself and your kids through college.

You know, it’s not the fact that it’s socialist propaganda that annoys me, it’s the fact that it’s bad propaganda. As in: it’s woefully constructed. XP
 
I can still appreciate a propaganda piece-even socialist propaganda-as long as there’s artistic merit and it’s well constructed,those old Soviet murals spring to mind. But this is so blatant, it has all the finesse of a drunken elephant.
 
Propaganda isn’t merely to act as conformation bias for your own team, it’s also supposed to persuade your opposition of your position. If you come right out of the gate accusing everyone who’s not on board with your worldview as being a White Supremacist, then everyone who’s not already a self identified socialist and/or progressive is going to be turned off immediately.
 
Western Media Industry, if you must insist on becoming nothing more then a propaganda arm for socialists can you at least make good propaganda, please? Stuff that doesn’t actively insult the intelligence of it’s audience by insinuating anyone’s gonna fall for this shit?

It could be a variation of a “false flag”. They could have INTENTIONALLY made their propaganda piece so awful that it pushes people away from the side the propaganda piece advertises….which is exactly what the makers of this false propaganda want.
 
There’s also Poe’s Law, which is when you’re not sure if something batshit insane is a hit piece from their opponents or if they’re genuinely that crazy.

Possible, but given the skill of Hollywood writers (or lack thereof), I have doubts.
 
As for Poe’s law, I have no doubts they think as much, they practicality blast it out all day every day on Twatter. They’re just really bad at communicating thier own worldview in a way that doesn’t involve demonizing the other, mostly because it’s not ideologically permissible for them to do so.
 
Once you’ve gotten it into your head that you’re the source of all that is good and right in the world and all wrong is committed by your opposing force, any act of compromise or conciliation is an act of sin.
