Video Game General 2: Definitive/Remastered Edition

Y’know, the ESRB almost gave games like “Ocarina of Time,” “Star Fox 64,” & “Sonic Adventure” Teen ratings, even though, they’re really not that violent. (Sure a few bosses are scary, but not that scary… Dead Hand comes pretty close though.)
 
I’m serious, there are actually old ads you can find where their boxes have a “T” rating on them.

OoT I can see getting T, or at least E10+. SF64 is basically set in a war and True Andross is pretty intimidating but it’s not so bad. Sonic Adventure, other than two near-apocalypses and Amy, I don’t see that much.

I don’t know why, some early ads, gave them T-ratings, even oddly when it’d say they were E. (Or “Kid to Adult,” the old equivalent of “E for Everyone.”)  
I kinda disagree, OoT is overall pretty kid-friendly, despite some dark things in it. There’s no cussing, or anything that bad in it, and things like the blood stains in the Shadow Temple I didn’t even notice as a kid.
 
The 3DS version did get E-10, though now, almost everything is getting “E-10,” so it’s kinda like how every kid movie is getting rated “PG” now.

The really bizarre thing about Ocarina of Time 3D getting an E10+ rating is that they actually censored the blood stains in the Shadow Temple and the blood splotches on Dead Hand.

If it’s not red, it’s OK to show blood to children.

Dead Hand is honestly kinda tame compared to some Resident Evil, or Castlevania bosses.

Pretty much, though some E/K-A-rated games have gotten away with red blood before, including EarthBound, (though that later got rerated T) the Itchy & Scratchy game, and surprisingly Kirby’s Dream Land 3 & Kirby 64.
 
Also, early cartridges of “Ocarina” actually featured red blood for that part where Ganondorf “coughs up,” and when Link delivers the final blow to Ganon at the end. The blood was changed to green though.  
The “Ocarina” manga has blood in it too, even in the VIZKIDS official published translation, and it still has an “all ages” label on it.

Already completed the Bronze Tier, and I unlocked Nina Cortex.

So all they had to do was not show Ganon coughing in their ESRB trailer and they didn’t have to change it.

There was also the infamous Muslim chant sample in the Fire Temple’s music, which was apparently an honest mistake on Nintendo’s part (they didn’t realize what it was). Later releases replaced the chant with a MIDI synthesizer instrumental of the same melody.

RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 COMING TO PC NOVEMBER 5TH  
Launching on the Rockstar Games Launcher, November 5th, and coming to steam a month after.

I got a head that I haven’t seen in any Borderlands 3 skin/head videos and the game has been out for almost a month. I guess no one thought to put out an updated video as they found more stuff. Those videos made head and skin selections look pretty awful.

Well, at least its not a 6 MONTH OR 1 YEAR GAP.

RDR1 still isn’t on PC.

I’m still waiting for a Sonic Unleashed Remaster.

You can probably get it for super cheap on 360 though.

I already played it on 360 back in the day, but a PC version would have been aces.
 
Am expecting the entirety of RDR1 to come out as DLC for RDR2 at some point, tbh.
