I’m pretty sure it probably would. We don’t blindly love anything that has anthro characters in it. The fact that Sing and Rock Dog performed so meh here should be proof of that.

The actual main plot is nothing special like everyone says. Every subject has been touched on by other films. It’s not at all a film that ‘touches on subjects never talked about in films.’

I have it on DVD, so I can re-watch it any time. Sadly, it doesn’t have any special features (I’d love to see a cast/director’s commentary), but those are just bonus, anyway.

My pet peeve is that the English version of the Region 2 DVD is the UK one, which has been changed to “Zootropolis” for stupid copyright-related reasons. I cringe every time they say that name instead of Zootopia in the movie.

I want to see a Zootopia and Aggretsuko, or to at least I’d commission an image of Nick and Judy meeting Retsuko. With perhaps Fenneko and Haida.
 
A fanfiction would be a consideration, I could possibly see Judy and Nick perhaps visiting a Zootopia-fide Japan. Perhaps getting caught up in some sort of mystery or crime, of which they offer to help solve.
