The only one remember off-hand is AugustBebel, but if I had to guess I’d say Ive seen at least half a dozen.
 
If I can suggest something, can you put a banner or something up to advertise it?

We did that for the first two weeks, not sure we want to keep doing it as it doesn’t apply to 99%+ of the site users. I am pushing towards making it more obvious in other ways, though.

So I sat down for shits and giggles but mostly shits and here’s all the badgeless artists I managed to sift out before I realized I was in way over my head and didn’t have the tools to properly sort them without sitting at my pc for like two weeks or something. I doubt it’s even a fraction of all the artists active on this site.
 
Not that I don’t agree that artists here are the minority, there are a lot more artists on this site than we give credit for, most of whom are just chillin’ on the sidelines.
 
(Kind of makes me wish we had a “featured artist” feature to give these guys/gals/buns some props)

I’m actually stunned at how many artists seem to post here exclusively, let alone are active members of this site. Like I said, most of them seem to be pretty much unknown artists who haven’t really built up a big following yet.
 
When I started out I decided I’d at least get the guys who post exclusively here and searched source_url:, artist:* thinking “there can’t be more than a handful of those guys”, but gave up when I got over 25,000 individual image hits. I waded through and quickly said “fuck it”.
 
Then I tried artist:a**, uploader:a** thinking I could at least match some artists who’s artist tag matches their user name, and still got over 5000 hits. I waded a ways through that and quickly said “fuck it.”
 
This is why I don’t normally try to be helpful; I always end up in way over my adorable little head. At least I sorted them nicely with Excel ;)

Well, maybe if I’m lucky I’ll have some downtime during work this week to go through it all.

First go here and you can link your account to your tag as well as any external sites (DA, Tumblr, Furaffinity, etc). Then it needs to get verified by a mod, and you’ll get the shiny new badge as a bonus.
 
Also, publicly linking your accounts is optional. If for whatever reason all you want is the badge, uncheck the “public” box.
 
When it’s public, people will see the links to your various sites on your profile page (example) and when someone searches your tag they’ll see the associated links and user profile at the top of the page (example)

You guys need to create a public demo user account for these things. Call him “J. Random Brony” or something. Give him upvotes, faves, comments, posts and even badges, so it looks legit. You can see his faves and comments and everything if you view them through his profile page, but they don’t appear in anywhere else and aren’t counted in the statistics. Hardcoded exceptions for that one user. Then use him as the example for everything.

Yes something will be done about it.
 
In the meantime, allow me to enjoy my 8AM-7PM workdays and the tiny respite of concious, responsibility-free relaxation I have before I have to sleep to prepare for the next day.
