When someone uploads a higher-res version of an image, we already merge into that. [So people who race for "first" wouldn't keep the uploader credit anyways.] The only exception so far has been _raw versions of Tumblr images more than a month old or so.
 
Since those could have been on the site already for years in some instances. [And some artists may not appreciate old artwork being bumped up to the front again.]
