Yep. Except for Communist rice farmers. They instead follow Chairman Mao’s idiotic “Four Pests” campaign, kill off almost all the sparrows, and trigger an unstoppable locust swarming that the sparrows had been holding back, killing lots of people.
In reality, the means of production must be defended, not seized, as the means are in the hands of the competent already.

Then again, I’m not a capitalist or a socialist or a communist. I follow capitalism only because to those like myself, it’s the next best thing, and we kinda need permission to reestablish the “true system” (we see Communism, Socialismn,m Fascism, and al other similar “isms” as the Devil’s cheap counterfeits of this system).

I’m a “Religious Voluntary Communalist”, aka: a follower of the “United order of Enoch”: through promises of blessings and cooperation, no fear, no gulags, no government force, the haves willingly give of their excess to a place called a “Bishop’s Storehouse” which the have-nots can come to to pick up what they need. It worked because all those who were of the haves could at any time become have-nots in certain fields, thus needing something from the Storehouse. Private property is enshrined in the system, and participation is voluntary. There’s no punishment for not participating, except for possibly the scorn of one’s neighbors for being selfish, but what is your private property is yours until you “consecrate” is, or donate it to the Storehouse. The “means of production” could only be given to others if consecrated, and the system worked for quite a while (the final settlement using it stopped in 1905 when permission to practice the Order was withdrawn from them).
Of course, everything has weaknesses, and just like Communism and the like, human greed is the weakness of the Order. While in the other “isms”, greed results in power grabs and totalitarian regimes, in the Order, all was well until a man was requested to consecrate 100 acres of land for poor settlers. he agreed, but when they started to move in, he suddenly changed his mind and demanded they get off “his land” or be driven off, even though he’d already willingly relinquished control of it to the Storehouse. If he wanted to keep it, he should have declined first, but that’s where everything started to fall apart.
Others like me all believe that our religious leaders will one day grant approval to reboot the Order, and this time, it won’t fail. the White of the Order will fight the Red of Communism, and the White Counterrevolution will bury the Red revolution in the annals of history forever!

tl;dr: It’s not too long, so either read it or say nothing. if you never reply or acknowledge it, I can already see that you didn’t read it well enough.

So its entirely based off of the trust in the individual? To either be productive or become a selfish deadweight? Seems like there is no incentive or drive to better the community besides being a good person. Also for this, are state and religion separate or combined?

A middle ground, actually. State and religion are in cooperation, but there is no state religion. This is ensured by combining that purely economic system with a purely-governmental system called “Theodemocracy”. Basically, take the basic branch structures of the US federal Government (house/senate, supreme court, president), and remove the president, replacing that one person with a “Council of Fifty”. The founding religion gets a guaranteed spot in the council for the head of their faith only to ensure the founding faith is guaranteed one voice at minimum, while the other 49 are elected to the council, but all are clergy of varying faiths. To hold any public office, one must be religious, and religiously-active, but the religion itself doesn’t matter. it’s not secular, but it’s also not an establishment of religion, as every single religion shares the government.
Those who participate in the Order are rewarded in various ways, instead of those who opt out getting punished, but it does rely mainly on the goodwill and compassion of the individual to maintain free agency and individual freedom. Forcing them to participate does nothing but make it tyranny. The government doesn’t get involved except to settle matters of whether or not someone actually consecrated something, and if they did, they’re sol, and have to remember that the consecrated items became property of the Storehouse the instant they agreed to hand it over. The Storehouses are otherwise not maintained by the cgovernment, but by the various communities, with religious leaders maintaining promises of blessings matching the teachings of their faith to encourage participation. The goal isn’t to eliminate the rich and the poor, but only to eliminate the poor by elevating them, while still letting the successful benefit from the fruits of their hard work. If one works more, then they should have more. But if one falls on hard times, they should have help from those around them to get them back on their feet and independent once more. “No poor among them,” is the goal, but “no rich among them” is not. It’s to create an absence of poverty through the transformation of the wealthy into a philanthropist class of benevolent individuals so the government can focus on their one and only job: to run the country and not meddle in the lives of average citizens.
There’s a reason we have yet to be allowed to reboot the Order: we’re told we are far from ready to try it again, and if we were to try again today, it would collapse again by the end of the year. So, we’ve still got a ways to go before approval to reboot it is granted. Until then, capitalism it is, for at least it’s the best alternative to the order. But one the Order rises again, we won’t be willing to be capitalists anymore, as we’ll have our system back.
