But instead, it’s called Pizza Pony Hut.

Alicorns cannot die. They can only be killed by their Hunters. Large, shadowy beasts that only they can temporarily defeat, every alicorn spawned has their own Hunter spawned at the same time. Usually, it has a meaningful or ironic shape.

In the old country, where Unicorns, Pegasi and Earth Ponies came from before Equestria existed, still exists the survivors of those races.
 
And heck, they are still racist.

Celestia and Luna, contrary to popular belief, are not immortal. Their innate connections to the Sun and Moon grant them immensely lengthened lifespans, but they will still eventually die from old age.
 
This is why Celestia made Twilight an alicorn: she wanted Twilight to eventually become her heir.

Twilight will not outlive her friends… because Twilight actually slashed an artery in despair when she was Discorded. Everything from the midpoint of the second episode of season 2 on has been a vivid pre death hallucination while she bleeds out in the bath tub.
 
What’s more, Twilight herself is the hallucination of an autistic Apple Bloom trying to cope with the fact the mane six all died confronting Nightmare Moon and the world is slowly dying in eternal night.
