That’s a horrid headcanon and one I doubt that ever would be made true. Plus its impossible as it would take more stone to make the mane 6 statue, plus the bases were different.
If anything the absence of the statue in the future could very well mean the three get let free and reformed at some point between the time skip.
But again the comics could and I imagine for the most part will ignore the time skip into the future altogether outside of maybe a time travel shenanigans storyline.

Why so?I think my main reason for thinking this way is that I’m still bummed out from the show ending. If the comics take place during the timeskip, then the final shot of the Mane 6 before the book closes is the last time we’ll ever see them chronologically. I want to see what becomes of them after the book closes.
