The End of MLP:FiM thread

My Little Pony - 1992 Edition

@Smart Heart
Most of Season 9 was canon, but the episode The Last Problem wasn’t real. It was fake, because of the many errors and horrible and weird things in the episode. The real ending to MLP FiM was the Ending To The End and that’s where it’s gonna be left off.

it’s funny not long ago we thought MLP FIM would out live every cartoon of 2010’s like some thought MLP FIM would outlive Adventure Time by years but FIM ended up only outliving AT by only a year even that went out the window with upcoming Adventure Time specials on HBO Max same thing with Steven Universe it ended up outliving MLP FIM too it’s strange seeing how 2010’s begin & then here we are at conclusion of it

  1. Twilight would never be big

May simply be an alicorn thing, y’know, for them to have expanded max heights in general, judging from how Celestia, Luna, and Cadance are all bigger than your average ponies, so why would Twilight be the odd one out? And don’t give me a “but it’s biologically impossible” spiel like I’ve seen before; this is MLP.

  1. Spike would never be big

…Uh, based on what? He’s a dragon. It’d be more surprising if he didn’t get bigger at some point, and in fact, he should by all rights be nowhere near max size.

  1. Celestia and Luna would never retire
  2. Twilight will never be ruler of Equestria

Hmm… nah, that isn’t convincing enough, try harder.

  1. Bad dialogue

Subjective.

  1. Equestria needs 4 princesses

And Celestia ruled Equestria alone for 1,000 years, and it’s not like Twilight’s the only alicorn in a position of power.

  1. Twilight would never leave Ponyville if she didn’t want to
  2. Twilight needs to run the School of Friendship

More nitpicking.

  1. Starlight, Trixie and Sunburst would never run the school of friendship if they didn’t want to

Where did they say they didn’t want to? The only time Starlight said anything close to that effect is in the S9 premiere, where she was… trying to help Twilight feel better, manipulate her into encouraging herself.

  1. Missing the last train

…okay?

  1. Couldn’t have been recorded because the Mane 6 are still young

?

  1. The book at the end was left in Twilight Sparkle’s old house

Was it? When was it written, and how do you know it does not simply have the same cover, if such a book with that cover existed?

Huge Twilight, huge Spike and shipping were the best parts of the finale.

It was in the episode. DHX made it. Hasbro released it. It happened. Dislike it all you like, but there’s no grounds for calling it fake. It exists and happened in canon.
