To be fair though, that's not all that different than what Starlight had to say to Twilight after HER first defeat. Her response was basically "fuck your beliefs" and to reaffirm that her way was the better way as well :P

In everone else's defense, though, I don't think they exactly publicized anything about Cozy. They just sort of quietly shuttled her off to hell to be forgotten about without any trial or due process or anything, so probably most ponies didn't know much about those events other than "world was nearly destroyed by some villain." Also, Slice of Life showed the ponies of Equestria are desensitized to such things to the point they barely pay attention to them and Cozy's a fairly nondescript kid and not visibly a monster. Between not knowing much about it, not caring much about such things, and no major visible red flags about ithe kid, it makes quite a bit of sense nobody recognized her :P
