Seeing as the latter is the one being used (I didn't know "@`standing on two hooves@`" even existed until >>2470319s), the former being an alias to the latter would help.
 
If the system is able to, the former could imply (or to that effect) [`hooves`](/search?q=hooves), given it literally specifies hooves.
