The Pokemon anime switched dubbing companies which made a lot of that thing complicated legal wise (contracts and all). Also please stop calling Maddie a he. She was a woman. She couldn’t even play Meowth again today even if 4Kids was still dubbing because she passed away anyways too so there’s also that.

 
Big’s first appearance in the comic.  
Because Penders always ignored the characters from videogames, he pretty much planned to make Big the Cat to act like John Wick, with swearing vengeance and everything.

Backstory and ignoring video game characters aside, I like his design. What animal is he supposed to be? A big cat?

By “they don’t keep him with one voice”, Taken meant Omega, not Maud.  
And yeah, while I am not surprised at all, only Japan has only maintaned this.

Okay, I’m just going to stop it right there and say that definetly does NOT fit Big the Cat’s character.

Technically Big was never meant to be stupid, just simple and carefree. The dubbers for the original game, as well as Jon St. John, decided to portray him as stupid, which ended up affecting almost all of his later appearances.

I don’t at all.
 
I’ve played some of the early classic Sonic games when I was younger (Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2) but I didn’t own them. I didn’t have a Sega Genesis but one of my cousins did so when I would go to her house, we’d both take turns playing it.
 
I’ve also played a bit of Sonic Generations but I also don’t own it. The only Sonic games I have right now are Sonic Unleashed, some of the spin-off Olympic games with Mario, and the later Smash Bros games (if those count but I doubt they do).
 
I’m very far behind in the series compared to a lot of you guys here.

And later in the issue Vector has to give one of the infected civilians a mercy kill, all while she’s crying and screaming about how she doesn’t want to hurt anyone and promises that she won’t touch anybody to infect them too.

issue #17 continues to remind you how absolutely screwed the whole situation is.  
it’s like you dropped them into the walking dead. charmy even goes back for her and this shit happens.
