Mewtwo is a powerful enough psychic-type that I found it not too hard to swallow, though I do feel like it’s in-game that we’re overlooking. What’s your opinion on The Ditto?

I couldn’t get a ride to church this week.

Our party is filled with a bunch of first time players. We leveled up for the first time and our Rogue asked the DM to help her.
 
DM: Let me see your character sheet.
 
Rogue: Okay.
 
DM: [Long Pause] …Do you know that you misspelled “rogue” on here?
 
Bard: Oh, did she spell it like “rouge”?
 
DM: No, she spelled it “R-O-U-G-U-E”
 
[Entire table starts laughing]
 
Rogue: I didn’t remember where the “U” went so I just put two… This is why I didn’t get accepted into college, isn’t it?
 
 

Reading about what happened to Rainfurrest 2015 made me feel less pity and more embarrassment and disappointment that a group so hard to go against the stereotypes that they’re labeled act out those very stereotypes.

You know what’s funny?
 
We made wristwatches so we wouldn’t have to keep taking pocket watches out to check the time, but ever since we put clocks on phones, we’ve gone right back to the same motions.

Not really. DashCon was a disaster because of the organizers while Rainfurrest was a disaster because of the guests and the attendees.

Kind of reminds me of how some subsections of LGBT folks end up making fools of themselves and acting like stereotypes at pride parades. That shit really doesn’t help.

I don’t like generalizations either as much as you don’t, but it would be a lot better if they (read: the subsection) didn’t act the way that they do, so these generalizations don’t happen in the first place.

It sure doesn’t help that those vocal minorities love to make themselves seen. Therefore they’d inevitably become the face of their fandoms
