I’ll get to the second game sometime. Or maybe I won’t. I didn’t like what I played of DS2 as much as I did the first game. Enjoyed what I played of 3, though.

DS2 is kinda meh, it’s not as good as the first or third game.
 
I mean, it’s still good, but it’s just good instead of being Blowjobs in gaming form.

I appreciate that in BotW Ganon is basically just an eldritch horror.

I will say that I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the first game, also I was surprised that I managed to beat most of the bosses in only a few tries, save for Manus and Gwyn.  
I somehow managed to beat Bed of Chaos in one go.

Ornstein vs. Artorias

I did kinda cheese the fight by breaking both shields and then reloading the game after each try.

Fuck that’s hard. Both are amazing fights and I think both would be pretty evenly matched.

Just got combat bracers in Nier, and they instantly became my favorite weapons. No wonder why they are buried so deep into the game.
 
2B is acting more and more warm and informal. I’m waiting impatiently for the 2B - 9S ship to sail.
 
Though since this is a Yoko Taro game, I’m going to expect at least one ending where one of them kills the other. That is going to quite a punch in the gut if it does happen. No spoiler pls.
 
Also, can someone who finished at least one run find me the soundtrack that plays when the city ruins got attacked by the 2 goliath construction bots?

Fight-wise, Artorias was easily better than S&O. One of my favorite battles in the series.
 
Lore-Wise… I dunno, we never really got a proper lock down on how strong either of the two knights are. Though I’m hedging towards Artorias. While Ornstein is powerful, Artorias’ sheer acrobatic skill and overwhelming strength is something truly to behold.
 
And you fight him while he’s corroded by the Dark and with a broken arm, imagine how powerful he would’ve been in his prime.

Also, I loved the Artorias fight. Guy was all over the place and was a good challenge. Best fight of the whole dlc if you ask me.

I just realised that Pokemon S/M broke the 6-year “release annually” streak from 2009 to 2014.

Given the political climate, where’s all the references to Bioshock Infinite? You guys remember Bioshock Infinite, don’t you? That critical and commercial smash hit by Ken Levine? I think I’ll have to bring it up more when discussing politics in the politics thread, and on twitter.
