Gonna need an explanation for this one.
 
I love (LOVE) crossovers and alternate universes, so over time I’ve though up a lot of different versions of the Mane 6. This here is Morning Dew (left), Twilight’s counterpart heralding from a world steeped in Druidic Magic. That style of magic is naturally geared towards Earth-ponies, so the ponies there tend to be larger in size and tend to live a bit longer. Magic flows at a slower pace, which is why her horn is so short. There are no pegasi where Morning comes from.
 
And on the right is Twilight if she were born as a zebra, in the jungles of Zebrica - I don’t have a name for her yet, feel free to give me suggestions. A very calm, patient type, she naturally clicks with Morning Dew’s slow pace. While Morning is very much set in her culture’s thoughts and ways, Zwilight(working title) proves eager to share knowledge with her. Morning eventually finds herself playing a strange game of strings and fate, unaware that there is any true meaning behind any of it.
