I don’t know about you but I thought these were great issues and the others he wrote were fine. The wrestling issue and the EQG issues were the only bad ones.

Personally, all the stories I’ve read from him have been mediocre at best.
 
Though I haven’t read everything he wrote for MLP’s idw comics since I stopped reading the official comics.
 
I don’t know who the best writer is, but I certainly don’t think that it’s him.

I have to disagree. I don’t like what happened with the inclusion of the OC and his response to the criticism, but he really is one of the better writers…for pony, at least. The only issue that I thought was meh was the one where Cheerilee had to sub in for her wrestling twin. Even the infamous 2014 annual was a fun issue, it just had that stupid drama with the OC. But it seems that whenever Ted does anything EQG related, it’s always god-awful. There have been three issues related to EQG and all three of them sucked, especially Holiday 2014.

That & he really screwed up on the public relations side of things. Someone told me once that he’s only still there since he’s friends with the head editor of the MLP division. I have also heard that that editor didn’t have a high opinion on writers in general.
 
Though I didn’t really fact check any of that.

This may sound cruel, but personally I think he needs to be fired. He is such a terrible writer. At least in my opinion.

I can’t believe they keep giving the EqG stuff to the same guy. Or rather I believe it & it makes unhappy.

The art work looks amazing for this comic. Too bad the story was terrible.
