I never said a good writer couldn’t make any particular ship sail. Still doesn’t necessarily mean I’d like it.

Do y’all read fan fiction? A good writer can make any ship work. Heck, I’m reading one right now that ships AJ and Discord and I kinda like the whole opposites attract thing they got going.

You’re not alone; my feelings on about 98% of fandom ships range from apathy to seething hatred (mostly towards the apathy end of the scale). I suspect we’re a shrinking minority in the fandom, though.
