Personally I think it’s because the new episode is all about unicorns. While Twilight, Rarity, Sweetie Belle, Starlight Glimmer, and Trixie aren’t so Orthodox they’ll refuse to work on the Sabbath, they still won’t work on Passover, much less a Passover that takes place on the Sabbath. So without the main actors available, they had to show reruns. Mazel tov.

So… I’m actually predicting that it will end before season 12 not 7. Not that an unreasonable prediction.
I never said season 6 was the last. Read what I said again, I said by the time there is another one of my birthdays on a Saturday again it will be over, that is a very long time from now. I am not likely to be wrong. 2022 is the next Saturday the 23rd of April.
