It's a _*very_* common trope for The Bad Guy to randomly kill underlings. So much so that "[The Evil Overlord List":](http://legendspbem.angelfire.com/eviloverlordlist.html) has several items dedicated to when exactly it is and is nokt ayppropriate to kill a minion, and when it is not.
