Emerald introduces himself properly.
 
“Nice to meet you, child! I must admit, you snuck up on me. Surprised I didn’t see you. You know why they call me Dead Eye?”
 
Emerald hazards a guess it’s because it’s his name, but he can’t help thinking of the obvious pun there.
 
“…Well yes it’s my name, but also because I was the best spotter in the Lord’s army when it was still around! Well okay, not the best, but I was pretty well above average.” Dead Eye says, scratching the back of his rotting head.
 
“Perhaps I should station two people a shift on lookout, that way none of you will fall asleep.” Gregarious says eyeing the zompony.
 
“Well I mean that would help because - Err… I mean I wasn’t sleeping!” Dead Eye says with a nervous laugh.
 
Emerald interrupts the awkward moment to ask Gregarious what he knows about demons. His mother’s amulet is really starting to scare him and he kind of wants answers.
 
“I wish I could tell you. Like I said, I don’t know much about demons.”
 
Emerald asks if he could speak with Pipadeaxkor again and try to get more information.
 
“No. I won’t allow it. I’m sorry child, but I just worry for your safety. You shouldn’t mess with demons unless you really, really know what you are doing. And even then most people don’t come out of it without some misfortune.” Gregarious says sternly.
